Ideal for horses with large fleshy tongues as the high ported mouthpiece allows for more room in the mouth. Designed to be used with just one set of reins as there is no snaffle ring. This bit is useful for horses who prove too strong in a snaffle yet are to be ridden by novice riders or riders who cannot handle two reins.
